Calsep is looking for a dynamic chemical or petroleum engineer for its office in Dubai to further develop Calsep's business in the Caspian region. The position will involve technical as well as business development activities with the focus on Russia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan. The candidate must be fluent in the Russian language.
Calsep is a highly specialized company and part of the first year will involve training in Calsep's core technology and business activities. As you get familiar with Calsep's area of expertise, you will get more responsibility and eventually manage the client base in the Caspian region.
Calsep's core expertise is PVT modeling, flow assurance simulations, development of customized software for PVT simulation and R&D activities within PVT model development. Calsep's proprietary software product PVTsim is used by more than 200 companies world-wide, including most major oil companies. The current position is in the GUI group, but the job will involve close communication with developers of the mathematical models and numerical algorithms used in the simulation engine.
