EOS models for fluids undergoing miscible gas injection EOR must not only match the fluid behavior under pressure reduction and natural depletion, but also respond correctly to multiple contacts with injection gases.
Calsep develops EOS models that accurately match all routine PVT and EOR data including the critical point on the saturation point curve from a Swelling Test experiment. The models will exhibit the correct development in equilibrium factors with number of contacts between injection gas and reservoir oil. Particular emphasis is on matching the minimum miscibility pressures (MMP) from slim tube experiments.
Calsep can export the resulting EOS model to the most commonly used reservoir simulators, e.g. Eclipse, VIP, More, and Prosper/MBAL.
